  • What are cloud services?

Cloud services means services made available to users on demand via the Internet from a cloud computing provider's servers as opposed to being provided from a company's own on-premises servers. Cloud services are designed to provide easy, scalable access to applications, resources and services, and are fully managed by a cloud services provider.

A cloud service can dynamically scale to meet the needs of its users, and because the service provider supplies the hardware and software necessary for the service, there’s no need for a company to provision or deploy its own resources or allocate IT staff to manage the service. Examples of cloud services include online data storage and backup solutions, Web-based e-mail services, hosted office suites and document collaboration services, database processing, managed technical support services and more.

PC Professionals currently offers cloud services for small businesses in the following areas:

    • Cloud based email.  The ability to check your email, customized with YOUR domain, from any device, in any location.
    • Backup services.  Our data backup keeps a copy of your valuable data on site at your location for quick recovery, plus, stores an encrypted copy on our secure servers.  Only you have access to the encryption key.  This protects your data in case of catastrophe, such as fire or storm damage to your facilities.
    • Cloud based file storage and sharing.  Allows you and your employees to share files directly in the cloud, with any device.
    • Remote Monitoring & Management - With or without managed Anti-Virus protection. Like having your own IT department, at a fraction of the price!  We are able to monitor the physical health of your computers, and respond as soon as we receive notification of a problem.
    • We can also assist your office in deploying MS Office 365, Quickbooks Online, or other cloud based software packages.
